Legal Tune-Up Seminar Offered for Nonprofits

 The Dubois County Community Foundation is hosting a “Legal Tune-Up” seminar for local nonprofits, as part of the Better Together series.

The October 15th seminar will be presented by Scott Wylie, nonprofit attorney and Executive Director of Vanderburgh Community Foundation and will give up to the minute updates on the Affordable Care Act, immigration law changes affecting area families, and provide policy and reporting requirements pertaining to IRS reviews.

This event, made possible in collaboration with Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network, United Way and Indiana Arts Commission, is part of the Community Foundation’s Better Together Initiative, intended to help nonprofits operate more effectively and efficiently.

Local nonprofit board members, staff and donors are invited to the event which will be held at the Vincennes University Jasper Campus Center from 11:00am-1:30pm.  Registration is $15 and includes lunch. Seating is limited so interested parties should RSVP no later than October 8.
