DR. EUGENE TEMPLE, FOUNDING DEAN OF SCHOOL OF PHILANTHROPY, TO SPEAK TO LOCAL ADVISORS
Dubois County, October 7, 2013: Founding dean of the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy, Dr. Eugene R. Tempel will speak to local professional advisors at the “Leave a Legacy” luncheon hosted by the Dubois County Community Foundation on Friday, October 11.
Dr. Tempel, will lend his expertise on planned giving to local CPA’s, attorneys and financial advisors, in an effort to strengthen the philanthropic sector in Dubois County.
“We are so very fortunate to be able to bring the wisdom of Dr. Tempel to our community,” Matt Eckert, board member of the Foundation said. “Our goal is always to connect community members with the needs they care about most and empower them to make a difference in Dubois County through philanthropy. I strongly believe Dr. Tempel will provide guidance on how we can increase the power of planned giving to create individual legacies,” Eckert said.
Dr. Tempel has been named among the 50 most influential nonprofit sector leaders for 11 consecutive years.
