Dubois County, May 17, 2016: Dubois County Community Foundation announces Natalie Schneider as the 2016 Lilly Intern. In this role, Natalie will assist the Foundation team in building community relations through a variety of projects and activities designed to further the Foundation’s mission including working with nonprofits and donors.
Schneider is currently enrolled in the Media School at Indiana University Bloomington, and will be starting her senior year in the fall. She is working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations.
“Natalie brings a fresh perspective and the right experience, making her a true asset to the team,” said Nicole Kreilein, Foundation communications and engagement manager. “The Lilly intern position is a wonderful opportunity for her to gain real work experience in her major concentration while also gaining a deeper understanding of philanthropy in Dubois County,” Kreilein said.
Schneider graduated from Southridge High School in 2013. She was involved in various extra-curricular activities throughout high school such as Varsity Tennis and Student Council. Schneider is the daughter of Philip and Charlotte Schneider of Huntingburg.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to become a part of the Foundation team and am eager to learn more about nonprofit organizations within the community,” stated Schneider. “I believe the Foundation has a great deal to offer to young adults, and is a perfect start to my professional career,” she said.
Natalie started with the Foundation on Monday and her internship will continue through August.
