Community Foundation Hires Cravener as Office and Grants Administrator

Dubois County, August 27, 2015: Dubois County Community Foundation welcomes Jill Cravener as the Office and Grants Administrator.

Jill brings nearly 13 years of proficiency in office management and public service, most recently with the City of Jasper as the Street Department’s Administrative Assistant.

Cravener participated in the 2014 Dubois County Leadership Academy and was instrumental in her team’s capstone project to establish a dog park that now exists at Gutzweiler park in Jasper, and which received a $4,000 grant from the Community Foundation at the time.

“I am very excited about joining the Foundation and being part of a great team that plays an important part in giving back to our community.” Cravener said. “I am looking forward to assisting individuals and organizations wanting to make an impact in their community.”

In addition to Cravener’s hire, Nona Baker has been promoted to Director of Programs, where she will oversee the fulfillment of grant making and nonprofit relationships, including direct engagement with grantees and community partners through trainings and outreach.

“This move allows Nona to focus more time directly with our donors and nonprofits who bring us great ideas of how we can have a significant and sustained impact on the community,” Brad Ward, CEO said.  “We are excited to bring Jill’s energy and passion to our team to greater serve our foundation, community, and loyal donors.”
